Do Not Fear

We made it! We have finally made it to the end of the year. Finals are just around the corner and summer is coming up. There are so many exciting opportunities and vacations planned for the summer, and this is no reason to be nervous or scared about what is ahead. Whether it be an internship, graduation, or finishing your first college year, do not fear.

As the end of the year rolls around, I cannot help but feel older and more accomplished. Some may have just finished their freshman year and feel their college years are just beginning, while seniors' time is ending. No matter what stage of life you are in as the year comes to a close, I want to remind you not to fear. In Isaiah 41:10 He says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” I love this verse because of its ability to comfort and reassure me. Though intimidating times come ahead as we finish or start a season of life, it is amazing to know and be confident in the fact that God is always with us.

So, as our school year ends, I want to reassure you with this verse. No matter what stage of life you are in, remember not to fear and to trust the Lord with all your heart. He is an amazing God and if you are scared or nervous about what is to come, do not fear because God already knows your plan, He will not fail you.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for your Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Deuteronomy 31:6
