What Should I Wear for Recruitment?

Summer is flying by and that means our Fall Recruitment is almost here!! We have been preparing for each and every one of you, and can’t wait to meet you all! We have put together some ideas for outfits for each round. Remember, wear what YOU are comfortable in. There is no “uniform” look in our chapters- each girl is SO different. Be yourself!

ROUND 1: Ice Water Teas will be a round in which you have submitted a video to our chapters, and then on the first day of recruitment you will watch the videos they have made. When picking out your outfit for your video, keep in mind that the frame will be horizontal and will only see your top half! We recommend a fun dress or top!

The Day of: IWT will be a virtual round held on ZOOM on August 5th with your Pi Chi group! Wear whatever you are most comfortable in!

ROUND 2: The Philanthropy Round of Recruitment is much more casual than all of the others as you will be wearing your Panhellenic Recruitment t-shirt provided for you. We recommend comfortable bottoms and shoes that showcase your personal style!

ROUND 3: During Sisterhood Round, women tend to get more dressed up. A dress suitable for church or a nice dinner is recommended. This round you could wear wedges but be sure you are comfortable standing in them. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for in between parties.

ROUND 4: The Preference Round is the dressiest round of all. A dress you would wear to a formal church or wedding reception will be perfect! You will spend the majority of the time sitting so you could wear heels if you wanted. Black dresses are NOT required for Preference! Have fun with color and patterns especially with accessories.

BID DAY: Lots of running around on this day, so we suggest comfy tennis shoes or sneakers! Athletic shorts and a tank top are easy to throw your jersey over.

Panhellenic has a Pinterest Account with all sorts of recommendations or ideas! Remember, you should dress how YOU want not how you think sororities want you to. Be yourself and have fun!
