Recruitment Tips

Panhellenic is SO excited for 2022 recruitment! We cannot believe it’s already here. We are so excited to meet you all!  

Here are a few tips for recruitment:  

BE YOURSELF:  Recruitment sounds scary- but it is so much FUN! Recruitment is NOT like the movies- it is genuine girls who just want to get to know you. Be yourself and enjoy the connections you are forming.  

HAVE A BAG: Each day, you will want to have some things with you in case you need them. Here are some recommendations / suggestions of what to pack in your bag! 

• Water bottle, feminine hygiene products, band aids, comfy shoes for in between parties, deodorant, any make-up items you might need (check out our Pinterest for more ideas!) 

WRITE IT DOWN: Since there are so many sororities at Auburn, you will talk to several girls! It is important to write your feelings down or what you talked about after parties so you have something to look back on when you decide your preferences.  

HAVE AN OPEN MIND:  This is SO important for recruitment. We encourage all potential new members to not come into recruitment with predetermined opinions about our chapters. You truly never know a chapter until you are inside meeting the members!
