Welcome Back!

Recruitment Recap !!!

This August we held our Fall Primary Recruitment and welcomed a record breaking 2,153 new members to our eighteen chapters.

This year we had a record of 2,352 women register for recruitment, making us the host of the fourth-largest formal recruitment in the country!! 92% of our 2,352 participants found their home in one of our Auburn Panhellenic chapters

We are so excited to have grown our Auburn Panhellenic community and cannot wait to watch all our new members thrive in their respective chapters

Our panhellenic community is so grateful for our 144 amazing Pi Chis! Throughout our Fall Primary Recruitment process they each led a group of 16-17 potential new members in addition to helping run recruitment parties! We couldn’t have done it without them!

This year Kickoff was held in Jordan-Hare Stadium! During this round potential new members met their Pi Chis for the first time and learned valuable information about the process.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Grace Valentine as our Kickoff speaker!

For our Ice Water Teas Round we introduced a new system through Canvas modules to allow for PNMs to watch chapter’s videos at their own pace and schedule. A Ice Water Teas Brunch was hosted at The Edge dining hall.

  • Merrin Tommie

    MAY SCHOLAR

Merrin Tommie is a rising junior from Birmingham, Alabama, majoring in marketing with a minor in professional sales. During her time at Auburn, she has served as Director of Leadership and now holds the position of Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Gamma Delta. Alpha Gam’s philanthropy focuses on fighting hunger, and Merrin has found great joy in witnessing the lasting impact their efforts have made in the Auburn community and beyond.

Outside of Alpha Gam, she serves as the Director of Student Relations for SGA, recently completed her term as President of Lambda Sigma, and is also an Auburn-Opelika Young Life leader. A fun fact about Merrin is that she’s spending her summer interning in New York City—but while she’s away, she’s definitely missing the Plains and especially Thrive, one of her favorite spots in Auburn!

We are so proud of Merrin for her accomplishments and dedication to the Panhellenic Community!

I am so grateful to my chapter and to the Panhellenic community for providing me such strong friendships that will last a lifetime!

This summer I am the Paid Social Intern at Pfizer at their New York City Headquarters, and it has been such a rewarding opportunity!! Fun fact: since I was 8 years old, I have always dreamed of living in the city! During the school year I intern at the Auburn Harbert College of Business and run their social media accounts, where I get to work with some of my close friends. These experiences have taught me so much and helped me grow personally and professionally in ways that will stay with me throughout my career!”
