Fall Activities To Do In Auburn
Fall is approaching us and hopefully fall weather is soon to follow. This time of the year is always one of my favorites because there are so many fun activities to do. Below are a few ideas of things you can do during the fall season, either with friends or by yourself. Use this time to make memories and experience new adventures with friends!
Go to the Farmer In The Dell pumpkin patch and pick pumpkins!
Farmer In The Dell is a local pumpkin patch right here in Auburn. You can go and pick pumpkins of varying sizes and colors. They also have a sunflower field you can walk through and they offer fresh local honey to purchase!
2. Carve Pumpkins!
Going along with the first idea, a fun fall activity is carving pumpkins. My friends and I hosted a pumpkin carving competition and we had a blast. You can also cook the leftover pumpkin seeds from the pumpkin if you like those!
3. Visit a local haunted house!
I am not one for scary things, but if you enjoy them then there are options here in Auburn. A popular haunted house is the Sleepy Hollow Haunted Farm. This is a great way to bond with some friends!
4. Go hiking at Chewacla State Park!
As the weather cools down, it is a great time to go hiking. Auburn has its own state park called Chewacla State Park. It has hiking trails, a swimming area, and picnic tables so you could pack a lunch and eat it after your hike!
5. Host a movie/ show night!
There are so many great fall movies and shows such as “When Harry Met Sally”, “You’ve Got Mail”, “Gilmore Girls”, and more. Put on a movie, bake some cookies, make some hot chocolate, and enjoy the company of your closest friends!
Whatever you choose to do, make the most of this time with friends because before we know it we will be home for the semester!
